Spring Superhero Adventure

Hi Everyone! The Iowa State University Love Your Melon Campus Crew recently went on a superhero adventure with a couple of our superhero kiddos.

On Sunday, March 3rd, McKenna, Reese, and families joined our Campus Crew at Build-A-Bear in Des Moines where they each got to create a build a bear of their choice! They each got to choose a sound, an outfit, and shoes for their bear! Our crew enjoyed watching the kiddos run around trying to pick out what they wanted while lots of laughing and smiles took place. We then took pictures with the kiddos after they all got done creating their bears.

Later we headed to Chucky E. Cheese. The kiddos had unlimited games for two hours. They were super excited to play with all of the games! We all then ate some pizza, then watched them catch tickets in the ticket blaster. It was incredible to see all of their faces light up with pure excitement and joy!

We then ended the evening with some dip n' dots ice cream before we all left! We really enjoyed our superhero adventure with Reese, McKenna, and families!
